St John’s farmhouse

One of Bridget’s unique bowls sits on a low table in our home; swirls of clay scooped from the foundation of our much-loved kitchen extension are mixed into the transluscent walls of porcelain. When you peer inside there’s a map of where our house sits in the village at the bottom. Everyone who comes here is fascinated by it. My sister was the latest person to see it and she loved it. She lives in a red-brick farmhouse at the foot of the Malvern Hills, and she wouldnt live anywhere else. Time and again, she has looked after our two dogs, and she never wants anything in return… Well, now we know just what we can give her to say thank you. It’s lovely to commission Bridget to do this for us… she has entered into our secret conspiracy and her enthusiasm to create something special for someone special of somewhere special is magic.
