Who are we?

We are the Creative Team – the team behind the Future Fossils Project. Next week we will post part one of the story but before that we wanted to introduce ourselves.

Liss writes short stories and roleplay games that straddle the line between history and fantasy. She likes making people question reality in the hopes that they will see the world as a more fantastical place and is a strong believer in the idea that history is stranger than fiction. She has an MA in Creative Writing, a BA in Classical Studies, and several short stories published in various anthologies. I am honoured to be able to say that she also happens to be my daughter!

Andrea is a creative magpie dabbling in many crafts alongside traditional drawing, painting and illustration. She has been drawing since she was old enough to hold a crayon and is now exploring more mediums in a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design. She enjoys creating whenever possible and draws from fantasy, folklore and a wealth of historical and natural inspiration. See more of her work: www.instagram.com/paintmagpie/

Tom is our voice! He studied at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and has appeared in shows including A Christmas Carol & Sparrow (East Riding Theatre). Voice work includes Fire in the Cold. (Yellow Hat Productions).

If you are here on this page, you probably know who I am – This is my website and this is my project. It was my idea to collaborate with these wonderful people and I have enjoyed letting go of the story and watching how it comes back to me.

Next week’s blog will include the first completed piece the title of which is The Spindle.

    1. Glad that you are intrigued. I just hope that the person in charge of stringing it all together is up to the task!
